Soy serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Velocis Technologies and Velocis Technologies. With over 25 years of hands-on experience architecting, developing, implementing, and managing technical solutions, he has a proven track record advising businesses of all sizes. Soy is an expert on several cybersecurity topics, such as enterprise security, cloud security, risk assessment, security operations, and remediation strategies.

He is passionate about emerging technologies like Quantum computing, AI/ML, and Generative AI and the challenges it pose to the safety of critical business assets. He is credited as a trusted partner and advisor to many enterprise firms and organizations.

In his current role, Soy oversees all the Cybersecurity initiatives of Velocis. He leads a team of analysts to actively hunt and monitor threats 24/7/365 to provide complete, customized service to businesses from multiple industries such as engineering, professional services, healthcare, manufacturing, and more.

Soy carries a Master’s in Computer Science from Cal State University-East Bay, along with various industry-specific certifications like CISSP
